BREAKPOINTX  /  IN DEVELOPMENT

THE HOBBY
WASN'T THE
PROBLEM.
THE TOOLSWERE.

Born from the hobby. Built to challenge what collecting technology can be.

SCROLL TO EXPLORE

MORE COLLECTING. LESS GUESSWORK.

The hobby has evolved. The tools haven't always kept up.

Collecting is supposed to be about the thrill of the chase, the excitement of pulling something special, and the satisfaction of building a collection you're proud of.

But somewhere along the way, the experience became more complicated than it needed to be.

Identifying cards, distinguishing parallels, researching values, organizing collections, and preparing cards for sale can mean bouncing between multiple platforms, second-guessing results, and spending more time searching for answers than enjoying the hobby itself.

We believe collectors deserve better.

That's why we're building BreakpointX.

One connected platform designed to bring card identification, collection management, market research, and collector tools together—without forcing collectors to piece everything together themselves.

But we're not interested in building just another app that spits out answers.

We're working toward technology that helps collectors understand why a card is identified a certain way, recognize the details that separate similar cards and parallels, and explore the actual market evidence behind estimated values.

And when the evidence isn't strong enough? We'd rather tell you what we don't know than pretend we have the answer.

Because the hobby was never the problem. The tools were.

And we think it's time to raise the standard.

THE STORY BEHIND THE BUILD

HOW THE VILLAIN ARC BEGAN.

Every collector has a breaking point. This was mine.

I never set out to build a technology company. I just loved collecting cards.

Ripping packs, chasing the next big hit, and sharing the excitement through Retail to Riches. That was the fun of it.

But the deeper I got into the hobby, the more something started bothering me.

Identifying cards became a rabbit hole. Finding the right parallel wasn't always straightforward. Researching values meant jumping between platforms and questioning what information to trust.

And I kept asking myself one question.

Why does something I love have to be this complicated?

Eventually, that frustration turned into an idea.

That idea became BreakpointX.

Not because I wanted to change the hobby.

Because I wanted to challenge the tools that were holding it back.

And that's how my villain arc began.

BUILT FROM THE HOBBY. FOR THE HOBBY.

A BETTER WAY TO COLLECT.

We're not building BreakpointX just to put another name in the market.

We're building it because we believe collecting technology can be better. More connected. More intelligent. More transparent. And most importantly, built around the collectors who use it.

We're still building, testing, learning, and pushing ourselves to get it right.

Because our goal isn't simply to create another collecting app.

It's to help set a new standard for what one can be.

And we're just getting started.
